Future Plans
Network of Vocational Training Centers.
EDARCH has proved that when entrepreneural groups of disabled persons work cohesively together and synchronise their activities they can give output equal to normal persons or at times even better.
EDARCH intends to spread this concept on a large scale by setting up Vocational Training Centers in Rural and Urban areas of India and Abroad, thereby endeavouring to reach each and every disabled person to make him self reliant and establish him in the mainstream of society as an Entrepreneur.
Industrial Township Development
Establish a township of disabled persons, for the disabled persons and run by the disabled persons. In such a township EDARCH has plans to establish various small and medium scale industries run by entrepreneural groups of disabled persons on co-operative basis. The units in the township will be complementary to each other and will have commercial contacts with other parts of the world for market development. The overall administration and control will be with EDARCH for all units of the township for health, safety and progress.
Rehabilitation of Disabled Military Jawans
EDARCH has submitted to the President of India a proposal for the rehabilitation of all those military jawans who have incurred permanent disability while fighting for their motherland. EDARCH desires to rehabilitate these brave sons of India in entrepreneural groups on commercial footing, make them self reliant and thereby develop vigour and strength to serve their motherland once again.
Rehabilitation of Three Neglected segments of Society.
Almost all NGOs are working for the upliftment and rehabilitation of those disabled persons who are mobile and can at least learn and perform some work but there are other disabled persons who are confined to their homes due to multiple disabilities and lead a vegetative life only. The family of such an unfortunate child gets psychologically disturbed, especially the mother but no NGO accepts him or comes forward to rehabilitate him till his survival.
EDARCH has prepared a plan to rescue such families from mental disturbance and rehabilitate their unfortunate child to lead his life in safe and natural atmosphere by placing him in the hands of a destitute woman, who has been thrown out by her family and the society also does not provide her with work for survival.
In this project EDARCH intends to develop a complex outside city area comprising of around 20 cottages and establish a family of 3 persons in each cottage. This unique family will consist of a child having multiple disability, a destitute woman as his surrogate mother and a senior citizen who is not accepted by his family and is forced to stay in old age homes. Such a senior citizen will take the responsibility as a patron member of his particular family.
Each destitute woman will take care of her adopted child and will also be involved in some agricultural activity with other similar destitute women in the complex to earn and lead a life of dignity. The senior citizen will pass his time playing with & caring for the disabled child and will also look after as head of the family. In addition, the senior citizen will get all advantages of old age home by being with other senior citizens in the complex and thus will enjoy a creative life.
